Two games launched the Apertura tournament in its qualifying stage of the First A of the Cruceña Football Association, this Saturday at the Édgar Peña Gutiérrez stadium. Torre Fuerte defeated Los Leones El Torno, while Nueva Santa Cruz defeated Destroyers.
After a scoreless first half, Torre Fuerte was effective in the complement and won 2-0 with scores from Palacios (70′) and Dos Santos (91′).
For his part, Nueva Santa Cruz also won 2-0. José Carlos Muñoz (43′) opened the scoring in the first half, while Richard Dorrego (79′) scored the second and final goal.
The first date will be completed this Sunday.
