Topázio Neto is elected mayor of Florianópolis

Candidate Topázio Neto (PSD) won the race for mayor of Florianópolis, with 58.49% of valid votes. Marquito (PSOL) came in second place, with 22.23% of valid votes. 100% of the ballots were counted. Topázio Neto is elected mayor of Florianópolis

Topázio Silveira Neto (PSD) was born in Florianópolis, is married, is 62 years old, is a businessman and has a degree in business administration. This was the first election he contested as head of the ticket.

In 2020, at the time affiliated with the Republicans, he was a candidate for vice-president of Gean Loureiro. Topázio only took office as mayor on March 31, 2022 when Gean Loureiro, who was in his second term, resigned to qualify to run in the election for governor of Santa Catarina. Loureiro finished in fourth place.

The mayor re-elected this Sunday (6) has had a career as a businessman in the relationship management segment since 1998. He was a partner and executive in national and multinational companies, becoming president of the Brazilian Teleservices Association, since when it was called the Brazilian Telemarketing Association.
