The acting nation’s attorney, Tomas Galvezremoved the prosecutor who was in charge of file 17-2022, in which the appointment of the head of the Public Ministry as supreme prosecutor is being investigated, within the framework of the case ‘The White Necks of the Port‘.
According to resolution 3683-2025-MP-FN, published in El Peruano, the appointment of Juan Paúl Ramos Navarro as provincial supreme deputy prosecutor of the First Supreme Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Crimes Committed by Public Officials was concluded.
The document states that “given the retention of attorney Juan Paúl Ramos Navarro’s position (…) he must be appointed to a prosecutor’s office according to his last appointment.”
The resolution also indicates that Ramos Navarro will be appointed to the Second Superior Criminal Appeal Prosecutor’s Office of Sullana.
Also removed were prosecutors Aldo Omar Cairo Pastor, who served as provisional supreme deputy prosecutor and was appointed to the First Supreme Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Crimes Committed by Public Officials; Rudy Angélica Córdova Rosales, provisional senior deputy prosecutor of the Sullana Fiscal District, assigned to the Second Superior Criminal Appeal Prosecutor’s Office of Sullana; Iván Vladimir Melgar Cáceres, senior deputy criminal prosecutor of Lima, assigned to the Second National Superior Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Corruption Crimes of Officials; and Paulo Jesús Del Río Altamirano, senior deputy criminal prosecutor of Lima, in the Second Superior Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Crimes of Corruption of Officials.
