The deputy of the Front of All (FdT) Victoria Tolosa Paz questioned this Monday the opposition of Together for Change (JxC) for not recognizing that “they were wrong” to take the debt with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and said that they It is about a debt that is not “the daughter of the deficit, but of the flight” of capital.
“Voices were heard in the room that supported the agreement, but what Argentina really has to know is that Argentina’s debt was taken by Mauricio Macri,” said the legislator in statements to Radio Nacional Rock.
Referring to the draft agreement with the IMF approved last week by the Chamber of Deputies, Tolosa Paz stressed that it is “a debt not the daughter of the deficit, but the daughter of flight”warning that “the system that was implemented in those years was a system totally designed for financial racketeering, and for the enormous profitability of extraordinary profits for those who fled those capitals.”
In this sense, he believed that the opposition “does not want to recognize that, which makes us think that, going forward, if they have the opportunity to govern again, they will apply the same recipes.”
“One does not find an opposition that says ‘we made a mistake with this financial system in an Argentina that has deep inequalities, it is not good for it, it generates more poverty, more inequality’; they continue to deny what happened and agree with the financial timba as a proven economic mechanism that if it generates more inequality or poverty, well, they don’t care,” he asserted.
In addition, Tolosa Paz stated that “the day the agreement was approved, Argentina began to win.”
“When you govern, you have to govern over the situation you have, Macri took an infamous, illegitimate and illegal debt and Alberto Fernández argued with the IMF for two years, not because he loves them but because he knows there is no option, just as he learned with Néstor When Kirchner financed the debt, he agreed, paid and in 2006 achieved the full sovereignty of a country that does not like to live with the Fund”, he reviewed.
For Tolosa Paz, the President “is doing the same thing in a different context, with a different amount and with an opposition that does not recognize that the debt is the product of flight.”
