Tolls will start charging new rates from #15Nov

The tolls were eliminated for seven years by orders of former President Hugo Chávez in 2008, who accused these institutions of operating irregularly. However, the measure was resumed in 2015 by the Government of Nicolás Maduro


The new toll rates were published in the Official Gazette No. 42,493, as established by the resolution, the payment will take effect next Tuesday, November 15. The document states that, “The Governments or decentralized public entities to which the administration of toll collection stations is entrusted, will charge the current rates established by this Office, which are described below.”

  • Heavy Load Vehicle 2 Axles Bs 35.00
  • Heavy Load Vehicle 3 Axles Bs 40.00
  • Heavy Load Vehicle 4 Axles Bs 45.00
  • Heavy Load Vehicle 5 Axles Bs 50.00
  • Heavy Load Vehicle 6 Axles Bs 70.00”.

The document also indicates that the administration of the collection stations is committed to enforcing these orders from the ministerial office.

“The highest authorities of the governorates and decentralized public entities, to which the administration of the toll collection stations is granted, are urged to guarantee effective compliance with the provisions of this resolution,” the document states.

In this sense, it is emphasized that the breach of these obligations by the Governments or decentralized public entities will result in the completion of the corresponding assignment and in which case the Ministry of Transportation will immediately take control and administration of the collection station. .
