This Wednesday, at the training center of the Administration Attorney’s Office, in Los Llanos de Curundu, the table that will review the project to reform the Civil Procedure Code was installed.
The Attorney for the Administration, Rigoberto González, who chairs the State Pact for Justice, which promotes the reform, attended this meeting.
The Vice President of the Supreme Court of Justice, Olmedo Arrocha, was also on the Judicial Branch.
In addition, members of the Ecumenical and Interreligious Committee of Panama, the Bar Association, among others, were present.
Judge Arrocha explained that the group hopes that in the first six months of the year, before the next legislative period begins on July 1, 2022, it will have been possible to discuss the issue of participation and consultation of the text.
He added that this period is also scheduled to see the reissue of the last text of the project, after including the “constructive” contributions. Later it will be presented to the National Assembly.
At this first meeting, it is planned to present the details of the reforms. “The meetings are going to continue, not only in the State Pact for Justice”, he detailed.
