In Toluca and Santiago Tianguistenco, the measure applies from Monday to Saturday for vehicles with hologram 1 and 2 from July 1, although fines will begin to be collected until January 1, 2026.

Fine for non-compliance

Not respecting Hoy No Circula can be expensive. The sanctions range from 20 to 30 Measurement and Update Units (UMA). In 2025, each UMA is equivalent to 113.14 pesos, which places the fine between 2,262 and 3,394 pesos, depending on the authority that imposes it.
