45 years ago, on August 28, 1977, the National Radio of the Amazon emerged to take information to rural, riverside and border areas where other communication vehicles reach.

The station has the role of integrating the Amazon region with other regions of the country through information, in addition to serving as a meeting point and transmitting messages from listeners. In 45 years, the radio has collected stories of family reunions.

Another birthday boy of the week is in the world of the ballgives National Radio of Rio de Janeiro, who turns 75 this Thursday (1). The program presented by André Marques is one of the most traditional on Brazilian sports radio and airs from Monday to Friday at 5 pm.

Monday (29) is a remarkable date for the L of the LGBT acronym. On this day, Lesbian Visibility Day is celebrated, a date that emerged during the 1st National Lesbian Seminar (SENALE) in 1997 in Rio de Janeiro. At SENALE, homosexual women were pioneers in the debate on topics such as sexuality, health, gender violence and important issues for the lesbian movement.
Lesbian Visibility Day is a time to reflect on the achievements and challenges of the community. Lesbophobia is still linked to machismo, which corroborates distorted representations of these women, whether in the construction of stereotypes or in the representation of these stereotyped characters in literature, cinema and other media. The program Plural Stationwhich aired until 2018 on TV Brazilcelebrates the date with the discussion on the importance of lesbian protagonism in cultural production.

25th Anniversary of Princess Diana’s Death
Wednesday marks the 25th anniversary of the death of philanthropist and aristocrat Princess Diana of Wales. Lady Di, as she was called, died in a car accident at age 36, tragedy that moved the entire world and left the British people in mourning, as Brazil Agency.
Diana was married to Prince Charles, son of Queen Elizabeth II, with whom she had William, third in line to the throne, and Harry. Even with the divorce, Diana remained an important link between the monarchy and the people, leading campaigns on behalf of HIV carriers and landmine victims, as well as being responsible for breaking with traditions and modernizing the UK’s crown. Bicentennial of Independence
A few days away from the celebration of 200 years of Brazilian independence, Hoje é Dia recalls the signing of the Decree of Independence of Brazil by Maria Leopoldina, wife of Dom Pedro I, on September 2, 1822. report of Brazil Agency portrays the story of these two characters involved in the proclamation.
