Today, in the Chamber of Deputies, the debate begins to reform the rental law

With the beginning of the legislative agenda, the Chamber of Deputies will begin today the debate to reform the rental law which is in force in the country since July 2020.

Legislators will seek to modify the project the term of validity of the contracts between tenants and owners as well as the updating system of the same that is currently in the rental law.

In the last year the rents have suffered increases of 50%.

The discussion about rental law It will start at 3:00 p.m. in the General Legislation Commission. The debate will be held for a period of 30 working days.as stipulated in the agreement between the ruling party and the opposition.
