The special evaluation commission of the magistrate selection process for the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ), began this Thursday the interviews with the 95 people who showed interest in occupying the position.
According to the schedule of interviews, on most dates it is planned to serve six applicants between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm The interviews were established according to the order in which the resumes were presented.
In this process, the person who will replace the magistrate of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice José Ayú Prado and his substitute is being sought.
Applicants will have 15 minutes to make a presentation based on three thematic axes: credibility before the community for their ethical and moral values; technical and legal suitability for the position; commitment to human rights and democracy.
After the applicant’s presentation, the committee may ask him/her questions, with the aim of clarifying and deepening some aspect of his/her intervention or another that they consider necessary to obtain a greater understanding of his/her profile.
The interviews are held at the Investigation Training Center of the Administration Attorney’s Office, and in order to guarantee the principles of transparency, publicity and citizen participation, they will be broadcast in real time, through the Attorney General’s YouTube channel. of the Administration and the channels of SERTV and the National Assembly.
On Saturday, June 18, a half-day session will be held and the sessions will resume on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.
