Zarate Academies will carry out today its expected free scholarship contest, aimed at fifth high school students from state and private schools of the Mantaro Valley and nearby regions such as Huancavelica, Cerro de Pasco and Huánuco. The activity will be carried out from 9:00 in the morning at the headquarters located at the crossroads of the Royal and Deustua Jirones, in Huancayo.
The academic coordinator, Percy Quispe Toscano, announced that during the day approximately 30 benefits will be awarded between whole grants, half scholarships and scholarship rooms to students who obtain the first places. In addition, those who approve the exam, even if they do not reach the top positions, will receive special discounts.
He also stressed that the institution has a program that, in each academic cycle (April and August), delivers 20 comprehensive scholarships to young people in a very precarious economic condition, prior verification of their circumstances.
“Zarate Academies not only provide education to those who have economic possibilities; our promoters are always committed to supporting those who need it most”Quispe Toscano said.
The exam will last two hours (from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 am) and will be developed taking as reference the prospect of the National University of Center for Peru, although it will also be valid to apply to other universities in the Central Region, due to the similarity of content.
“It’s not about complicating young people, but about giving them facilities, evaluating at a basic level and considering the training they receive in their schools,” The academic coordinator explained.
Participation does not require prior registration; The only requirements are to present the ID and carry a pencil. “We invite the entire Huancaína population and our young people to take this opportunity to prepare with a view to their university future,” said Percy Quispe Toscano.
