In charge of Department for Social Prosperity, Citizen Income includes periodic aid of up to 500 thousand pesos for more than 2.8 million homes that have the lowest classification of Sisbén IV with the aim of reducing inequality gaps and ensuring their access to basic servicess. However, to remain valid in attendance in 2025, is it necessary to register again or do I have to register?
Citizen Income does not have a registration processTherefore, Social Prosperity will advance the identification, selection and linking of households that are potential beneficiaries through administrative records from the official sources that are defined.
To enter the program, the home must be in one of the following registries:
• Have a current SISBEN IV/Social Household Registry registration
• Be registered on a list of indigenous population validated by the Ministry of the Interior.
To do this, you must keep your information from the Sisbén IV survey updated and pay attention to the information channels, whether from the regional office or the mayor’s office of your municipality.
Beneficiaries must be classified within groups A and Bwhich correspond to the lowest levels of income and living conditions, specifically to families in extreme poverty and moderate poverty, respectively.
Likewise, the program prioritizes households in which there are people in particularly vulnerable conditions, such as:
– Boys, girls and adolescents.
– Pregnant or lactating women.
– People with disabilities.
– Older adults.
– Indigenous communities, Afro-descendants, or victims of the armed conflict.
