To prison teacher who would have abused a girl in a garden in Bogotá

A kindergarten teacher was sent to the Buen Pastor prison in Bogotá who was allegedly sexually abusing and torturing a 3-year-old girl.

A prosecutor from the Bogotá Section charged him with to this woman, who was not identified, the crimes of sexual acts with a minor under 14 years of age and torture aggravated.

The Sectional Director of Bogotá Prosecutors, José Manuel Martínez, He stated that the case was registered in 2019, when the teacher would have subjected the student to different humiliations in the bathroom of the institution, for 15 days.

The woman also punished the girl by hitting her ankles, bathing her with ice water and humiliated her in front of her classmates, so the little girl decided not to return to the garden,” the official said.

He added that as a result of the investigative acts carried out, the teacher was captured and presented before a guarantee control judge.

He explained that after three years, the little girl recognized the alleged aggressor in a new school where they put her to study, so he refused to go to study so as not to meet the woman again.

The girl, who is now six years old, told the course director why she did not want to return to school and pointed to the alleged perpetrator.

The Prosecutor’s Office also asked the parents to know more cases related to with this teacher, report them to the authorities competent.

The facts were brought to the attention of the Attorney General’s Office. and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF), so that they carry out the pertinent actions with the minor’s family and be able to establish what treatment should be followed in this case.
