The specialized director against Criminal Organizations of the Prosecutor’s Office, Carlos Roberto Izquierdo indicated that the investigative entity has evidence that accounts for the meetings of this so-called ‘invisible drug dealer’ with the leaders of the dissident group of the farc known as the second marquetalia; and meetings with the chiefs of the ‘clan of the gulf’.
According to the Prosecutor’s investigation, between January and March 2019this man would have been designated by the detainee as head of the ‘Gulf clan’, alias “Otoniel”, to manage contacts with other criminal structures and coordinate the shipment of cocaine abroad.
Test material indicates that, as of July 2019, alias “mario bros”, allegedly met with the then leaders of the dissident organization of the farc known as the ‘second marquetalia’, in the rural area of Elorza, in the state of Apure in Venezuela.
At the meeting, it seems “a criminal non-aggression pact was established, in which they promised to respect the drug trafficking routes and to support each other to guarantee the exit of the cocaine”
Alias “Mario Bross” was charged with the crime of aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime for the purpose of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying drugs. The charge was not accepted by the defendant.
It should be remembered that the accused was captured in a luxurious hacienda in Quimbaya, Quindío, where he allegedly arrived 30 days ago to share with his family.
