“Museums at Night” this Friday the 12th from the 18th hour
An interesting proposal has been prepared by the Departmental Mayor of Cerro Largo for the next day within the framework of the activity called Museums at Night that takes place at the end of the year throughout the country.
There will be activities from 6:00 p.m. both at the Regional Historical Museum and at the Posta del Chuy.
The areas of Tourism, Education and Culture of the Government of Cerro Largo have worked in close coordination on this.
“What we have now on Friday is Museums at Night. The Regional Museum and La Posta del Chuy were presented to the Ministry of Education and Culture” commented Marcela Licha.
“There will be various events. At La Posta bonfires will be lit and there will be folklore. At the Regional Historical Museum there will also be activity, with an Artisans Fair, live music and the presentation of the book Parades around the City” The person in charge of the Education Area announced during the live interview of THE PROFESSIONAL Radio this Wednesday, December 10.
“Bringing culture to the streets is giving very good results. The number of visits to the Museums and La Posta is impressive, they have increased considerably” he assured.
This unusual eagerness for these spaces does not only occur on weekends, but also during the week. “The signature book shows it as such. Furthermore, the officials are working happily. The two Lauras and Danilo are happy because when they need something we always try to get it for them. The same thing happens here at the Museum” Licha highlighted.
PUTTING THE HOUSE IN ORDER
The person in charge of Education also referred to what has been done in these first 5 months of administration.
“We took office in the middle of the year, with July holidays in between. First we focused a lot on what was coming, which was the celebration of August 25, we wanted it to be a success and we believe it was” said Marcela Licha.
What has been done from then on is intangible because it was aimed, fundamentally, at working with the teams, for example, of the CAIF where the Municipality is the CSO, such as Garabatos and Collazo.
Important changes were made in the Student Homes that, according to the Head of Education, were very necessary. In that sense, both in Melo and in Montevideo there was a change of managers, seeking better functioning.
“We tried to reorganize the teams, give them guidelines on how we want things to be handled and cut excessive expenses that were involved in a lot of things” he assured.
“As Morel said when he took office: we are organizing the house for next year to start with all our imprint. We already have projects that have not been able to be implemented, but we are going to start them from the first months of next year, in February or March we will be disseminating them” he committed.
