According to the epidemiological report of the Departmental Health Directorate (DDS), in the period from 09/25/2022 to 10/01/2022, 1,024 new cases and 9 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19 were detected in the country.
From the start of the pandemic to 10/01/2022 there are 986,446 cases and 7,495 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19. The active cases until 10/01/2022 are 996.
During the week, a total of 13,571 tests were carried out and the percentage of positive cases was 7.6%.
As of 10/01/2022, there are 1.6% of ICU beds occupied by COVID-19.
To date, 6 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 positives in the department: 1 in a private provider room, 2 in a private provider CTI, and 3 in a public provider room.
