New York.-The executive director of the Executing Technical Unit of Title of State Land (UTECT), met this Wednesday with Dominicans residing in several states of the United States, with the purpose of delivering for the first time more than 80 certificates of property titles.

In the award ceremony held in the main hall of the Dominican Consulate, where the director of (UTECT), Mérid Torres, explained to those present at the meeting that all the information related to property titles will be provided at the consular headquarters. of Quisqueyans residing in the United States.

During his participation, he spoke about the services provided by the Consulate, highlighting the effort made by Consul Eligio Jáquez, to put into practice the policy of President Luis Abinader abroad.

Torres said that the Dominicans who received their degrees reside in New York, Miami, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Puerto Rico, among other cities.

He stated that his visit to New York was due to a formal invitation from Consul Eligio Jáquez, who from the first moment has shown interest in joining efforts to measure the possibilities of the Dominican State, through the Technical Executing Unit of Titling, Extend your friendly hand so that Dominicans who reside in this great city, and who own houses, lots and plots in the Dominican Republic, can obtain their property title certificate.

He said that with the delivery of title certificates, Dominicans with properties in Azua, Gaspar Hernández, Hacienda Estrella, Aguayo, Hato Mayor, Montecristi, Los Mina, Nagua, Monte Plata, Villa Altagracia and Villa Riva are benefiting, who He assured them that today they are already the legal and definitive owners of their lots, plots and homes, that no one will be able to bother them anymore.

“The delivery of these 87 certificates of titles, we cannot see it as one more delivery, and it is that today the government of President Luis Abinader makes history again because it is the first time that property titles are brought to Dominicans. residents abroad”said the official.

He pointed out that in addition to delivering the Certificates of Titles, Dominicans will already have an office that will work in the Consulate to attend to all Dominicans who need to resolve their title problems.

For his part, the Consul General of the Dominican Republic in New York City, Eligio Jáquez, highlighted the acceptance of the government of President Luis Abinader, who has made it possible for the offices of different institutions to exist at the consular headquarters.

He also said that those who received the property titles today here in New York “are already subject to bank credits with their properties and also that they have now acquired another value in the market.”

The director of UTECT traveled accompanied by the deputy director of the institution, Rubén Céspedes, and the director of community affairs, Jezabel Peralta, who were received by Consul Eligio Jáquez and Rafael N. Fuerte, advisor to the Executive Power for the Diaspora, Vice Consuls Yulín Mateo, Clarelina Sosa, Francia Vargas, Manny Félix, director of the UASD in New York, as well as the director of the Dominican Agrarian Institute (IAD), Francisco Guillermo García García, who is also on a working visit to the United States together with the director Degree.
