Tite announces that he leaves it: "A difficult, but necessary decision"

Titeex -selector of BrazilHe said that an indefinite rest will be taken in his professional career to take care of his mental and physical health. The 63 -year -old coach, who led Brazil to win the 2019 Copa América, was hospitalized for a heart problem last August. He was fired by Flamengo the following month and recently he had been pointed out to lead the Corinthians.

“I understood that there are times when you have to understand that, as a human being, I can be vulnerable and admit that will certainly make me stronger,” Tite said in a statement published on the Instagram of his son Matheus Bachi on Tuesday. “I am passionate about what I do and so I will continue, but after talking with my family and observing the signs that my body emitted, I decided that the best thing I could do now was to interrupt my career to take care of myself during the time as necessary.”

“As it has been made public, there was an ongoing conversation with Corinthians, but it will have to be paralyzed by a difficult, but necessary decision.” Tite, who ceased to be a Brazilian coach after his elimination in the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup, has previously trained several Brazilian teams, including Grêmio, Atlético Mineiro and Palmeiras.
