Mass washing and disinfection in Melo
The Municipality, through the collection division under the supervision of Gabriel Billafan, carried out a task of disinfection and washing with creolin last night, starting at midnight, inside the dump trucks, outside and their surroundings. At these hours they continue through the peripheral areas and neighborhoods of Melo.
“At dawn we returned with the task of washing, which we were not able to do due to lack of officials, and well, now we have enough officials to also include this task of washing,” said the person in charge of the municipal collection system Gabriel Billafán.
“We did it at dawn in support of private companies, which we had coordinated for a long time and we couldn’t do it, and well, this morning we did do it, which is the entire downtown area,” said Billafán.
“The tanker truck is used, the pressure system with water and creolin, what it does is disinfect a lot and scare away the flies. The washing is done inside the dump truck and about 3 meters around the dump truck, which is also important. Although those dump trucks in private companies are large, we have no way to turn around because it would be ideal,” he indicated. “You clean it a little with water and creolin and that helps a lot to scare away the flies and not leave that ugly smell that sometimes you pass by the dump truck and you smell. And well, we are also going to intensify this toilet task throughout the city and next week we are also going to start going to the municipalities to wash as well.”

“The task is going to continue and we are going to do it here, which corresponds to us as well. We are now providing support to the private company, which I suppose we also finished this early morning, and then we are going to continue throughout the city of Melo, the part that corresponds to us, in all the neighborhoods, and we have intentions now In the coming weeks we will also do the municipalities. Already on Tuesday I am committed, next Tuesday we have to go to Tupambaé, there I am already taking advantage of Tres Islas, Ramón Trigo and Bañado de Medina, that is it, it is to continue the toilet in the entire city here in Melo and also the municipalities,” said Billafán .
