Three municipalities in the province of Buenos Aires will have holiday on December 1, so it will be a non-working day for both public and private sector workers.

On the same day, also due to its foundation, the municipality of Huinca Renancó, in the province of Córdoba, will have holiday. The same will happen with the town of Puerto Santa Cruz in this province, which will celebrate its 144th anniversary. In these cases, municipal workers and public organizations, whether national or provincial, will not have to work.
In San Luis, there is also a municipality that will celebrate the anniversary of its foundation on December 1st. This is Villa Mercedes, where the employees of the Judiciary of the province will not have to work.
The project that seeks to declare a holiday immovable
On Thursday, the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation approved the project that would modify article 1 of Law 27,399, which establishes the holidays nationals for the entire Argentine territory. The objective of this change is to declare immovable the Memorial Day August 17in which the passage to immortality of General José de San Martín is remembered.
This initiative, presented by José Luis de Gioja, deputy of the Frente de Todos (FdT), has already obtained half a sanction in Deputies and must be dealt with in the National Chamber of Senators. The modification of the law obtained 205 votes in favor and only two against, belonging to the Libertad Avanza space.
For now, the Ministry of the Interior has already established that the date be moved to Monday the 21st to have an extra-long weekend. However, if the measure is approved, the holiday of August 17 will not be able to move for tourist purposes.
