“This is a giant step in the promotion of science and technology, and it is a decision that comes to strengthen and promote the first-world educational training to which we all aspire,” says Marvin Castillo, President of FUNDESTEAM.

He explained that the World Robotics Olympiad is already underway with all the preparations that have been developed step by step, training teachers, preparing the judges and creating that student motivation throughout the country.

“For the second consecutive year we are going to celebrate regional Olympics, surpassing the figure of 14 competitions last year to more than 20 this year, between official and private schools,” said Castillo.

The FUNDESTEAM representative reiterated his gratitude to the First Lady of the Republic Yazmín Colón de Cortizo, the Minister of Education Maruja Gorday de Villalobos, and a great public-private alliance that are committed to this great country project.
