
What began as a search since last Wednesday, February 18, culminated successfully, after the deployment of intelligence and action of the authorities from the state of Amazonas who rescued three women who had been missing for several days and they were about to be illegally transferred outside Venezuelan borders.
According to information shared by the Government of Amazonas through its official Facebook account, the procedure was the result of coordinated work between the Amazonas State Police Corps (CPEA) and the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas).
The young women, identified as Adriana Rodríguez (18) and the teenagers Wuiliandis Caña (16) and Norelis Blanca (16), were found on the banks of the Orinoco River, specifically in the El Campito sector of the Carabobo neighborhood.
The details provided by the Government reveal that the rescue occurred at approximately 7:30 am, just when the victims were being shipped with the alleged objective of being taken to Casuarito, in Colombian territory.
Interruption of a clandestine transfer
During the operation, the capture of two subjects involved in the incident, who are already in the custody of the Public Ministry. A third suspect managed to escape by entering the area, Therefore, security forces maintain active search protocols to find his whereabouts.
