The three-way pool tournament called “Francisco Leonel Gómez ‘Franco’ – 2022″, in memory of a friend and competitor, the Venezuelan Francisco Gómez, known for his extensive knowledge of the “diamond theory” and remembered as “ Franco” will start today.

The competition will take place at the Dead Pool billiards club, formerly Varguitas (at the corner of Patricio Meléndez avenue and Zela street). This tournament has summoned the 24 best three-cushion billiard players from Tacna such as Cesar Sánchez, Roberto Ticona (the last champion), Juan Rodríguez, Esteban Silva, among others.

The group qualifying stage will be played for three weeks. Then in three more dates it will be played by simple elimination from the round of 16 to the grand final.
