The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddie Bernalreported that they neutralized
three individuals allegedly linked to terrorist acts in the Pedro María Ureña border municipality, after confronting the commissions of the Organized Crime Division of the Bolivarian National Police and the Anti-Terrorist Unit of that police force.
He stressed that the application of the Border of Peace operation began to be carried out in the
border municipalities Bolívar (San Antonio del Táchira) and Pedro María Ureña, zones
that will be guarded by the citizen security forces to avoid the intrusion
of irregular armed groups in national territory.
The highest regional authority stressed that this weekend security officials were deployed in the El Tato trail, La Mulata sector and in the Aguas Calientes sector of the Pedro María Ureña municipality. In the latter, there was an attack on the officials who killed the citizens designated as terrorists.
“There was an exchange of shots for several minutes by the criminal gang
towards our police commissions, resulting neutralized citizens Acuña Gómez
(24 years old), known as Diómedes, Acosta Carrero (23 years old) and Rodríguez Vargas (25 years old), alias Bocachico. It was known that four other individuals managed to flee ”, he assured.

The regional authority pointed out that this decision was registered after the work tables
