The Government of the City of Buenos Aires reported that as of March three stations of the subway they will remain closed, since comprehensive remodeling works will be carried out to improve the operation.

These stations of the subway They will be closed for at least two months as part of a renewal plan that is being carried out in the railway system. From the Government of Buenos Aires they announced that the spare parts will allow the optimization of the transport service.
“In that time, work will be done to transform them into more comfortable, orderly and safe spaces, improving circulation and the existing infrastructure and making the travel experience more and more satisfactory.”
They also detailed that the works include “waterproofing tasks, painting, replacement of flooring and lighting, blacksmithing, rearrangement of the power line, adaptation of signage, placement of Braille signage on handrails and porticos, and new furniture on the platform, such as benches. , baskets and ischial supports”.
In addition, they explained that “currently survey tasks are being carried out and from March the closure will be necessary, because the works are incompatible with the provision of the service.”
