Three men were shot to death after a shootout between rival groups in a house in the Buenos Aires district of Campana and investigators determined that two of the victims had a criminal record, for which they suspect a settling of scores, judicial and police sources reported this Saturday. .
The event occurred minutes before noon this Friday in a house located in Pueyrredón at 1,500 of the Villanueva neighborhood, in the aforementioned municipality, located about 80 kilometers from the City of Buenos Aires.
Judicial and police sources reported that it all started when two of the victims, identified as Marcelo Fabián Muñoz (36) and his nephew Rodrigo Velardis (21) were in that house and were attacked by two other men.
“At least one of them arrived on board a Volkswagen Suran and we have to confirm if his accomplice arrived from another place or in that car,” a spokesman in charge of the investigation told Télam.
The fact is being investigated by prosecutor Ana Laura Brizuela, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 2 of the Zárate-Campana Judicial Department.
After a shooting, one of those who had arrived at the building, named Pablo Daniel Pinea (45), died almost instantly after being shot four times.
According to the sources, Muñoz and Velardis were transferred to the San José de Campana municipal hospital with eight and three bullet wounds, respectively,
During the afternoon of this Friday, the young man’s uncle died, who had injuries to the abdomen, his buttocks and a shoulder, while Velardis died this morning as a result of injuries sustained in the right area of the back.
The vehicle in which Pinea arrived and possibly the other man who escaped after the dispute, was abandoned at the door of the house where the shooting occurred.

Investigators determined that the gray car had adulterated engine and chassis numbers, as well as the license plates.
Personnel from the Departmental Directorate of Investigations (DDI) Zárate-Campana carried out the corresponding tests and determined that there were about 20 shots but they did not find any firearms at the scene.
The experts seized numerous leads and projectiles of 9 mm and .380 caliber, the sources said.
Scientific Police carried out a survey of traces, planimetry and also found a 9-millimeter charger inside the Suran.
“There are four people who faced each other inside a house, we don’t have any firearms and due to the number of shots there were at least two there must have been”a spokesperson told Télam.
The investigations now tried to identify Pinea’s accomplice, which still could not be determined if he fled running or through another vehicle.
In addition, they took testimonial statements from the relatives of the victims to establish what could have been the motive for the attack.
The two men who arrived armed at the home
A young woman who lives in that house assured that two men arrived armed and asked her about her mother, after which Velardis and Muñoz maintained a struggle until a weapon was taken from one of them with which they killed Pinea.
However, the investigators continued the testimonials because there were some inconsistencies in their accounts.
While, Pinea served an 8-year prison sentence for robbery and Muñoz also had a record for the same crime and aggravated threats, so the main hypothesis is that it was a settling of scores.
