The Superintendence of Banking and Insurance (SBS) declared the dissolution of three savings and credit cooperativesaccording to the legal regulations bulletin published today in the official newspaper El Peruano. What are they?
These are the Crecer Perú Savings and Credit Cooperative, the Acción para el Desarrollo y Emprendimiento Ltda ADECOOP Savings and Credit Cooperative and the Coopevision Cusco Savings and Credit Cooperative.
The SBS ordered the exclusion of these entities from the National Registry of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Not Authorized to Raise Resources from the Public.
WHAT ARE THE REASONS?
The dissolution of the Crecer Perú Savings and Credit Cooperative because it is subject to the cause of total loss of social capital and cooperative reserve.

In the case of the Coopevision Cusco Savings and Credit Cooperative It is specified that he did not raise the cause that motivated the declaration of the intervention regime. The resolution details that this entity did not comply with sending the aforementioned list of partners to the SBS within the ninety days prior to the date of issuance of the Intervention resolution.
The rule states that as of the date (January 20, 2025) it is prohibited:
– Initiate judicial or administrative proceedings against these savings and credit cooperatives for the collection of debts under their charge.
– Pursue the execution of judicial resolutions issued against you.
– Create liens on some of your assets to guarantee the obligations that concern you.
– Make payments, advances or compensation, or assume obligations on her behalf, with funds or assets that belong to her and are in the possession of third parties.
– Establish a precautionary measure against their assets.
