Three positions in dispute on the last date of the Youth Baseball regular season

The team from Veraguas got fully involved in the fight for one of the remaining spots for the Round of 8 of the National Youth Baseball Championship by beating Los Santos 3 runs to 1 against Los Santos with extraordinary pitching work by Javier Reina.

The game was tied at one run when in the bottom of the eighth inning the Veragüenses managed to score twice to come out with an important victory in their aspirations to qualify for the next round.

Reina threw eight solid innings allowing only two hits, striking out eleven opponents, allowing no runs and giving up four walks, while on offense, Eduardo Bolívar went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Franco Rodríguez went 2-for-2 with a run towed.

With this result, Veraguas remains with a record of 6 wins and 8 losses, remaining in the eighth position that gives the last ticket for the round of 8, while Los Santos remains with a record of 7 -8 and is located in the seventh position
