Virginia Carballo Zeballos was identified as the woman who died after ingesting 24 capsules with drugs. His body has been in the morgue since Wednesday. from the municipal hospital of the Pampa de la Isla citadel without being claimed by his relatives.

The prosecutor assigned to the case, Cirio Chambilla, reported that the woman traveled on a public bus from the capital of Santa Cruztogether with her partner, to the municipality of Puerto Quijarroborder with the Brazilian city of Corumbá.

Upon arriving at the border, Virginia Carballo Zeballos felt severe stomach pains and had to return with her partner on another bus to the capital of Santa Cruz, but on the way she was dropped off in the town of Puerto Pailas, in the municipality of Cotoca, so that she could be treated in a public hospital, Wednesday night.

The woman arrived at the hospital without vital signs and, at first, He believed that the case was a femicide, because the husband fled. The body was taken to the morgue in Pampa de la Isla and the forensic examination revealed that the woman had swallowed 24 capsules of cocaine.

Chambilla said that, after the autopsy, femicide was ruled out because it was known that the death It was caused by the explosion of one of the capsules with drugs.

The Prosecutor’s Office will summon the partner to testify in order to find out why he left the hospital in Pailas and if he knew that his partner had taken drugs. They are also trying to determine whether this man also swallowed some packets of cocaine.

What Felcn is not clear about is If Virginia Carballo Zeballos ingested only the 24 capsules that was found in the stomach or if it had already expelled other packages.
