The National Migration Service (SNM) reported that this Monday, August 8, in the afternoon, three migrants died after being swept away by the current of the Armila River, in the Guna Yala Region, when they were bathing in said place. .
Two adults and a minor of approximately 16 years of age, of Venezuelan and Colombian nationalities, unfortunately lost their lives. Residents of the community together with migrants managed to remove the bodies of an adult and a minor.
The doctor at the Armila Health Center confirmed the death of both people.
