Three men posed as police officers and stole G. 10 million from a house

According to the police report, the home robbery occurred yesterday around midnight in the town of Edelira, Itapúa, resulting in the victims Lidolfo Ahner Benke, 72, and his wife De las Nieves Vera de Ahner, 64.

The amount stolen by the criminals amounts to G. 10 million, according to the police report. They also took a 32-caliber revolver and a 20-gauge shotgun.

The perpetrators of the crime are three men wearing T-shirts that had the insignia of the National Police Investigation Department, who had firearms in their hands.

In their complaint, the victims recounted that these three people arrived at the house presenting themselves as Investigation personnel. After a brief dialogue with them, one of the subjects drew a firearm, demanding the delivery of G. 300,000,000 that they supposedly had in his possession.

Subsequently, the criminals began to search the rooms of the house, finding the cash that they decided to take along with the firearms.

Personnel from the Criminalistics and Investigations Department of Maria Auxiliadora intervened, as did the Public Ministry.
