Three men were killed with firearms during events that occurred last Sunday in Petare, according to police sources.
One of the victims is a bailiff from the Palace of Justice in Caracas, who was murdered in the 12 de Octubre sector, Petare, Sucre municipality (Miranda), according to police sources.
The victim is identified as Luis Jiménez Castro, who had a bailiff’s credential issued by the Executive Directorate of the Magistracy (DEM). Along with Luis’s body, they also located that of another man whose identity is in the process of being verified.
Also in Petare, but in the Palo Verde Industrial Zone, another homicide occurred. In that case, the victim was identified as Freiber Irisa. This person, who was with a friend, was intercepted last Sunday by armed subjects. They both ran and that’s when one of the gunmen shot Irisa in the back, killing her.
During the shooting they injured a man and his daughter, who were taken to the Domingo Luciani hospital located in El Llanito.
The three murders are attributed to cells associated with Wilexis Acevedo Monasterios, alias The Wilexis.
