Two accidents in the early hours of this Sunday resulted in three deaths.
One was an accident between two motorcycles and a VW Amarok van, which caused the death of a woman and her daughter, in the Interbalnearia route at kilometer 34.
The van was being driven by a 44-year-old man. His driver’s license was valid, but the spirometry was positive with 0.84 grams, he was fined and disqualified.
One of the motorcycles was driven by a 66-year-old man, along with his wife, a 57-year-old woman. The man suffered polytrauma with moderate head trauma and was referred to Casa de Galicia. His wife died from the impact.
The second motorcycle involved was driven by a 22-year-old daughter of the couple, who also died in the accident.

On the other hand, on Route 8, during the early hours of this Sunday, a truck with four occupants hit a pedestrian who was traveling on the shoulder in the opposite direction to traffic, at kilometer 239,500.
The pedestrian died at the scene and at the moment the victim has not been identified since he did not carry documents. All four people in the van were uninjured. The driver had a valid driver’s license and the spirometry was negative.
The route was closed for three hours and was released to traffic at 10:30 am.
