Three injured left in Villa Clara The fire for the explosion of a liquefied gas cylinder at the Brisas del Mar de Caibarién hotel, today reports the Cuban News Agency (ACN).
The injured of the incident, occurred on Wednesday, are hotel service workers: two chefs and the installation administrator.
The injured were transferred to the María del Carmen Sozayaya hospital where first aid received, according to declared A ACN DR. Julio Cesar Arosteguí La Rosa, General Director of Health in Caibarién.
Two of the injured presented burns, and the third was diagnosed with a shoulder dislocation.
“He coordinated his transfer to the Arnaldo Milián Castro hospital in Santa Clara,” said the specialist.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire quickly and the causes of the incident are investigated, according to the report. The Brisas del Mar Hotel belongs to the Gastronomy Commerce and Services.
The fact adds to other similar reports from the island, where fires frequently occur in forest areas and in homes, state entities and other sites.
All these facts, even those who do not leave victims, have a significant impact for affected people and entities, at a time when the island crosses a severe economic crisis.
