Three extortionists arrested

Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps of the Cabimas Municipal Delegation arrested dangerous extortionists, members of the El Adriancito gang, identified as Douglas Ávila, 32 years old, Ángel Yedra, 21 years old, and Isaac Rivero, 24 years old.

After receiving a series of complaints from victims, a police commission was formed to carry out field investigations, which led to the location and arrest of the criminals.

According to the investigation, the detainees monitored the merchants and provided their data to the leader of the gang, who then carried out terrorist attacks in order to obtain payment of large sums of money in American currency from his victims, the product of extortion.

Twenty-five rounds of ammunition, four mobile units, and two Bera brand motorcycles were seized. CICPC is still searching for five more members.
