Three dead and almost thirty homeless leaves fire in Antofagasta

Two men, ages 32 and 65, and a 63-year-old woman died this morning as a result of a mega-fire that affected four homes in the La Favorecedora town, in Antofagasta. The incident completely destroyed two buildings, while the other two suffered partial damage.

The incident, which occurred in the vicinity of Limache and Temuco streets, managed to be brought down with the joint work of five fire companies: however, it affected 27 people.

Meanwhile, the Carabineros Criminalistics Laboratory (Labocar) is already in the place carrying out the corresponding skills to explain the causes of the fire. The bodies of the victims will be taken to the Legal Medical Service, as reported Cooperative.
