Three subjects were killed in Petare during a saturation operation carried out this Tuesday by the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), according to sources from the security agency.
One of the victims was nicknamed El Alejandrito and was a member of the criminal organization El Diente, which operates in the El Tanque sector. The subject possessed a 380 pistol which was seized.
Another part of the police operation took place in the La Bombilla sector of the José Félix Rivas neighborhood where two members of the organization founded by Wilexis Acevedo Monasterios (El Wilexis) were killed.
At that site, the officials seized three firearms, according to a partial report from the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions of the PNB.
The police intervention occurs after five people were murdered over the weekend in sectors of Petare.
