A large structural fire seriously affected a commercial area in the Llanograndein eastern Antioquia. The emergency compromised the facilities of three renowned establishments: the restaurant Brasas Steak House, Disliqueurs and Sponge’s.
He Rionegro Fire Department deployed a robust operation to contain the flames, dispatching three extinguishing machines and 16 operational units. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the uniformed personnel, control, extinction and cooling tasks were carried out, as stated by the Corporal Jairo Veronaoperational chief of the Rionegro firefighters.

From the Risk Management Office and with the work of 16 Firefighters units with three machinesthe fire that occurred in the early morning in Llanogrande was controlled, specifically in the restaurant embers. The authorities reported that only structural damage was recorded.
One of the aspects highlighted by the institution was the agility in response time. After receiving the alert call to the 1:30 a.m.the units moved immediately, arriving at the scene of the accident in just 7 minutes and 32 seconds. This efficiency was key to initiating fire attack maneuvers in a timely manner, given the magnitude of the conflagration.

To date, the competent authorities have not determined the origin of the fireso the causes remain under technical research. The Fire Department reiterated its commitment to the safety of the community and will continue to provide support in the assessment of damage and the corresponding expertise to clarify what happened.
