Three “cobra vaccines” from the Tren del Llano were imprisoned

Three men who are part of the Tren del Llano gang were arrested in the town of San José de Unare, Pedro Zaraza municipality, eastern Guárico state, the Cicpc reported on its social networks. The group founded by Gilberto Malony is based in Altagracia de Orituco (Guárico), but has set up a cell in Zaraza led by Carlos José Pirela Armas, who is on the run.

On this occasion, those captured were registered as José Rafael González Acosta, Freinny Anni Mota Zapata and Nanci Coromoto Flores, in charge of logistics in the collection of “vaccine” against agro-producers in the area, according to investigations by the scientific police.

The members of the criminal organization have been sending videos to merchants and producers where they demand that they contact them to agree to pay the extortion, in exchange for letting them work and “sparing their lives.” Many of these recordings have been broadcast on social networks where the long weapons carried by criminals can be seen.

But in the Pedro Zaraza municipality there is another organization that disputes with Tren del Llano the payment of vaccines. It is about the band of El Pepón, founded by Yohanny Machuca. Both groups installed their equipment in Los Guatacaros, a village near the La Becerra reservoir, south of Zaraza, where they held an armed confrontation on March 20, leaving 4 dead.
