Military personnel assigned to the Zulia Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit (Uria-11 Zulia) and Detachment 112 of the Zone Command of the Bolivarian National Guard-11 Zulia arrested a citizen, whom they did not identify, who was dedicated to the distribution and trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
The man’s capture was carried out during intelligence and information processing tasks in the Curva de Molina sector, Maracaibo municipality, Zulia state. The police force did not detail the amount or type of substances that the detained subject distributed.
In another procedure, in Puerto Guerrero, in the Zulian entity, two people were arrested for transporting 364 grams of illicit substances in packages of corn flour.
The military authorities notified the procedures to the Public Ministry. Likewise, Fanb confirmed that it maintains its deployment in the country to combat illicit drug trafficking.
