Three allies of the criminal organization founded by Carlos Enrique Gómez Rodríguez (El Conejo) were arrested and another was killed, according to military sources.
The procedures were carried out as part of the scrutiny operation carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and police forces in Valles de Aragua, with a view to dismantling the criminal group commanded by El Conejo. The subject possessed a 9 mm pistol, a radio transmitter, a marijuana wrapper, and nine cartridges, four of them for rifles.
Another proceeding against the El Conejo gang occurred in the Las Mercedes sector, José Félix Ribas municipality, Aragua state, where they detained a telephone team, a black Empire Horse 150 cc motorcycle, license plates AB3H44R. In this procedure, they arrested Darwin Isaías Chávez Mora, required by arrest warrant No. 027-2023 dated 2/17/23, issued by the 2nd Special Control Court of the state of Aragua, for the crimes of terrorism, corruption and association to commit a crime
Also in La Victoria, Aragua, but in the Socialist sector, the military seized telephone equipment, an M-26 fragmentary grenade, and arrested Wilmer Alexander Campos Paredes, alias El Gato.
In Villa de Cura (Aragua), Los Colorados sector, the military commission seized a 9 mm caliber Glock pistol, a pistol magazine, and seventeen 9 mm caliber cartridges without firing. All the material was in the possession of José Miguel Esaa Figuera.
