Those killed in Cota 905 had returned from Chile and Peru

The three men who were killed last Monday in Cota 905 had recently arrived from Chile and Peru, according to police sources.

The men were known by the aliases El Mini-Vampi, El Pre and El peluca, who confronted officers of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) assigned to the Unit against Criminal Gangs. The scuffles occurred in San Miguel and Las Cumbres, Cota 905. At the end of the operation, the officers seized three firearms.

Mini-Vampi was tasked with reinstalling in Cota 905 the old criminal structure that reigned there until July 2021, when they were evicted through Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro. On that occasion, the three negative leaders of the group fled; namely, Carlos Revete (El Koki), Garbys Ochoa (El Garbys) and Carlos Calderón (El Vampi).

The latter entrusted Mini-Vampi with retaking Cota 905 before the presidential elections on July 28. The subject was carrying out this mission together with three others who are being sought by security agencies and whose nicknames are: Cucaracha, Misael and El Capullo.

In this frustrated return, Cota 905 would continue to be the epicenter of an entire corridor that includes La Vega, El Cementerio, El Valle and Caricuao, through whose mountains drugs would be trafficked, according to police sources.

But they were also called to participate in acts of violence on September 28, two months after the presidential elections, the results of which are not accepted by María Corina Machado, who had previously met with the Tren del Llano, among other criminal groups, according to sources.
