The Metropolitan Transit Agency (AMT) announced that the Vehicle Technical Review will begin in July 2022.
Silvana Vallejo, director of the Metropolitan Transit Agency (AMT), reported on the rescheduling of the vehicle technical review in Quito. He indicated that since july 2022 will start this process.

- August: plates ending in 3 and 4
- September: plates ending in 5 and 6
- October: plates ending in 7 and 8
- November: plates ending in 9 and 0
- December: all plates
Vehicles without revision in 2021
The vehicles that they did not perform vehicle review in 2021, public, school, commercial or freight transport, and vehicles who perform this process for the first time could carry out the vehicle technical review in the GAD surrounding Quito, from February to November.
