In this sense, this Monday the memorandum of understanding was signed to strengthen ‘BogotáBio’, which “will facilitate the development of capacities to research, innovate, manufacture, produce, buy, sell, market, distribute, import, export, vaccines and other biological and health technologies“.

They mention that they hope that before the end of this year the creation of ‘BogotáBio’ will be formally authorized and to that extent an experienced private strategic partner will be selected.

In addition, as a commitment to strengthening, they expect the District Administration to award the construction contract for the production plant in December of this year, which would lead to the delivery of the infrastructure in December 2026 and the production of biological.
