The Collegiate Bodies of Administration and Decision (Ocad) are one of the most important planning and resource allocation tools in the country, when it comes to delivering resources to the regions for projects infrastructure and social works that allow it to improve the living conditions of its inhabitants.
One of the most recent chapters of this system is the Ocad Paz, an organ of the General System of Royalties (SGR) responsible for making viable, prioritizing and approving investment projects financed with royalty resources, which contribute to the implementation of the Final Agreement for the Termination of the Conflict and the Construction of a Stable and Lasting Peace. It is also responsible for designating the public entity andjthe executor of said projects and the body in charge of contracting the supervision of the same.

Currently, the National Planning Department (DNP) is carrying out the second call for these bodies related to the peace process, to promote the development of the territories through the General Subdirectorate of the General System of Royalties and that is why since August 16, the review of the enabling conditions of the projects proposed by the Territorial Entities and Ethnic Communities of the 170 municipalities that make up the 16 Subregions with Territorial Approach Development Plans – PDET is being carried out.

In this regard, National Planning reminded the applicant entities that they have until next Monday, September 9, to submit corrections to the observations made to the projects or else they run the risk of being excluded from this national call.
“During this stage of correcting observations to the enabling conditions, the Directorate of Management and Promotion of the General Royalties System will provide free technical support as a guide in the progress of the projects submitted in the single call for proposals in 2024,” the entity noted.

The National Planning Department added that “in addition to the above and strengthening the principles of equality, merit, morality, efficiency, economy, impartiality, transparency, speed and publicity of the public function; the Subdirectorate General of Royalties of the DNP invites the Territorial Entities and the Ethnic Communities applicants to be attentive to their institutional emails”, so that they can correct them.
Likewise, it is necessary to consult with the legal representatives.to closely monitor the programming of technical assistance activities, which is free and does not require intermediaries. At this point they warned that any complaint or irregularity must be reported, to avoid inconveniences.

These investments will be financed with resources from the General System of Royalties and will focus especially on the sectors that are at the heart of the Final Agreement, such as agriculture, environment and sustainable development, social inclusion and reconciliation, transport infrastructure, justice and law and reparation for victims, in order to leverage the development of rural areas, contribute to improving their levels of competitiveness and productivity and to repairing the social fabric.
