This Wednesday 5,732 people were immunized as a preventive measure against Covid-19, reported Headquarters. To date 58% of the population has the first dose; 46%, the second; 16% the single dose and 14% the third dose.

Meanwhile, heThe new cases of Covid-19 in the department totaled 177, of which 163 are in the capital, six in Montero, four in San Ignacio, two in Cotoca and one case in Porongo and El Torno

According to the epidemiological report, no deaths from the coronavirus were reported, but 16 patients are hospitalized in the therapy rooms and 10 of these are attached to a respirator.

As a way to expand vaccination coverage among students, Headquarters installs mobile immunization points in schools.

This Thursday the mobile vaccination posts will be in at least eight educational establishments: February 16 (afternoon shift), Pedro Áñez (night shift), San Felipe (morning shift), September 26, Nuevo Horizonte (morning and afternoon shifts), Neftaly Sandóval and Kindergarten Teacher A.
