The urban singer’s body Bayron Sánchez Salazarartistically known as B-Kinghe was fired in the Cemetery Campos de Paz, on the outskirts of Medellín, by family, friends and followers, who gave him the last goodbye on the afternoon of Thursday, October 2 in an emotional funeral ceremony. The young artist was killed in Mexico after several days missing.

From the moment his coffin was transferred from the José María Córdova airport to the watch room, dozens of people accompanied the family in their pain. In the place, there were moments of deep sadness, but also of tribute, with music, flowers and photographs that remembered their career and dreams as an exponent of the Colombian urban scene.
B-King had begun to gain notoriety on digital platforms for its fresh style and letters near the neighborhood. His murder, together with the artist known as Regio Clown, in circumstances still to clarify in Mexican territory, has caused shock in both Colombia and in the musical world.
During the funeral, family and relatives expressed their pain, but also their gratitude for the support received. His mother and sister shared emotional messages on social networks, remembering the young man as a fighter, dreamer and passionate about music. In his house an altar was also installed with candles, flowers and memories of his artistic life.
Who was his manager, Juan Camilo Gallego, asked the funeral attendees to attend with a white shirt and so it happened.
Mexican and Colombian authorities continue to investigate the causes and responsible for the crime. So far, the details are reserved, but the family has requested justice and has requested that the case not to be forgotten. In parallel, several urban artists have raised their voice demanding greater protection and attention for musicians working in difficult scenarios.
B-King’s farewell was much more than a funeral: it was an act of memory and resistance. Medellín fired him with respect and music, remembering that his voice, although violently silenced, will continue to play on the streets, on the platforms and hearts of those who believe in the transforming power of art.
