The workers and doctors of the Petroleum Health Fund (CPS) announced that the 96-hour strike will begin this Tuesday. Among the demands of the petition is the lack of management of the top executive, David Martínez.
As reported, “on October 9, the first national expansion was held together with the two Federations (Fesimra and FSTCPS) in which a decisive vote was cast where our main demand is the irrevocable resignation of the highest executive authority of the CPS (David Martínez)”.
However, “given the lack of attention to our demands and the non-resignation by the highest Executive authority of the CPS, the Federations and all our unions at the national level, throughout the month of October pressure measures have been carried out at the national level”.
In this framework, starting this November and in compliance with the resolution vote, “all medical unions and related branches are instructed to continue to our pressure and mobilization measures with the 96-hour national strike”.
That is, this Tuesday, November 5, Wednesday the 6th, Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th there will be no outpatient care at the Oil Health Fund, throughout the country.
