Starting this Sunday, September 18 and until October 15, 2022, the pre-census session of the Technological Test for the development of the XII National Population Census and VIII of Housing 2020 will be carried out, carried out by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC) of the Comptroller General of the Republic.
According to Zenia Vásquez de Palacios, Secretary General of the entity, the areas that will be part of this test are the districts of Tocumen in Panama, Capira in West Panama and Altos de Los Lagos in Colón, which have a population of 18,055 homes. .
“The supervisors and enumerators will be duly identified with their uniform and a credential. The informant will be able to validate the identity of the enumerators and supervisors assigned to the Censuses, by entering the website: www.censospanama.pa/verificacion/.”, he added.
It should be noted that for this National Census, more than 112 thousand applicants have participated, who will use Mobile Capture Devices, which is a type of small-sized computer, which will be controlled and blocked to run only census applications.
This device will be able to make corrections for inconsistencies in the data, directly during the interview.
