The information was offered by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), which explained that the opening of the structure is necessary to facilitate the passage of the vessel MV Belle Lashun A-59786, coming from the Joseph Industrial Development Corp., SRL shipyard, as an essential measure to guarantee navigation safety.
During the closure period, the MOPC recommended that drivers use the Juan Bosch Bridge and the Ramón Matías Mella Bridge (17 Bridge) to travel between Santo Domingo Este and the National District.
The institution thanked the users for their understanding and reiterated its commitment to the road and maritime safety in the area.
